Uncanny Consulting LLP’s latest endeavor takes us to the Middle East, where we helped SAICO, a leading producer of plastic bottle caps. The collaboration between Uncanny and Optimal Connectivity aimed to replace the manual and time-consuming process of sales and accounting with an intelligent ERP. SAICO relied heavily on traditional accounting methods, such as spreadsheet tools, email communication, and standalone software. Our team of experts, led by POC Krupali, navigated through the ongoing challenges and implemented Odoo’s sales, expense, and purchase modules to ensure streamlined management and sales.

The organization relied heavily on manual Excel inputs and paperwork to manage production, financial, backend, and stock transactions. Using traditional accounting systems further increased the chances of calculation errors.

Inefficient inventory tracking resulted in a faulty system that was prone to errors. This led to stockouts, overstocking, or wasted resources, which in turn caused production delays or excess costs.

Integrating the Odoo Accounting system with the Zakat Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) Portal to manage the automatic synchronization of the invoices created in Odoo.

Challenges Faced During Implementation
