Mabruuk Fashion, a U.S. luxury brand known for its elegant abayas, premium scarves, curated gift sets, and signature perfumes, partnered with Uncanny to move from Wix to Shopify. The idea was simple: build a luxury-grade, mobile-first storefront that feels smooth to shop on and can support bigger campaigns as the brand grows.

We focused on removing the little frictions that often cause users to drop off, making pages load faster, simplifying paths to products, and placing trust signals where they matter most. Checkout was also reimagined to feel effortless, whether for a first-time shopper or a loyal returning customer.

Challenges & Problem Statements

Outdated Storefront Experience

The Wix site lacked the experience and speed expected of a premium label, particularly on mobile, which reduced engagement and repeat browsing. This resulted in reduced discovery among new users and negatively impacted sales.

Unclear tax breakup and shallow filters slowed discovery, limited cross-sell, and buried high-intent collections. Accessing such a complex journey also complicated the user experience while slowing down the backend.
